GAL (Grow And Learn) Magazine is the brainchild of Donna Lowe. Lowe is a native of North Carolina and after having her first daughter - sought ways for girls to become encouraged and empowered. GAL was initially developed as an effort to help the local community and provide mentoring to young women. It now incorporates the web as a main portal providing an enlightening experience while learning about our local surroundings. Lowe is currently the Creative Editor of GAL Magazine and Intermediate Host of GAL TV. GAL looks for ways to provide an enjoyable experience while keeping up with modern technology. Always Growing And Learning . . . Our mission is to create an enlightening experience for our readers through shared experiences, mentoring, and providing insight. GAL uses the insight of the spiritual connection, the wisdom of our elders, shared experiences, and the power of self-improvement philosophies to educate, encourage and empower all individuals. GAL wants to support our communities, empower our young women, and help develop social networks.
