How to submit articles? All articles should align with our mission: Our mission at Indigo Read LLC and GAL (e-zine) is to create an enlightening experience for our readers through shared experiences, mentoring, and providing insight GAL uses the insight of the spiritual experience, the wisdom of our elders, and the inspiration of self-improvement philosophies to educate, encourage and empower individuals - from the cynic to the believer, the ignorant to the learned, and the narrow-minded to the open-minded. Our challenge is to provide hope, inner-power and unity, create opportunities where others see none, and most importantly to INSPIRE. Please follow the steps below to submit your article: 1) Write a title for the article. 2) Determine which category (or categories) the article can be displayed. 3) Write a one-paragraph "bio" about yourself and your business, with contact info, at the bottom of the article. 4) Email us the article using the article submission form found in the user menu (located on the HOME page, lower left column, entitled SUBMIT ARTICLES). 5) There is no charge to submit articles, and you may submit articles that have been previously published in other magazines, e-zines and websites. We prefer fresh content and material that is releveant to life in North Carolina. 6) Articles should be between 500 and 2000 words in length. By completing the article submission form, and whenever you submit an article to us, you are giving GALMAG.com permission to publish your article on this website. We also reserve the right to make minor edits when deemed necessary for grammar and readability. You will only be contacted by GALMAG.com if your article is published or selected for print. We do not reply upon receiving your article and we do not give a "status update" on article submissions. Articles that are related to our mission and overall theme will be published online (with author permission). We keep articles on file for approximately one year for possible publication. |
